The first face and impression for walk-in customers, homeowners and clients alike, the Receptionist occupies a key role in welcoming guests to the showroom and supporting the sales team with managing and preparing for appointments.

The ideal candidate is affable, positive, and extremely customer-oriented. While this is an entry level position, phone manner, organizational prowess, and proficiency with MS Office are essential.

Key
Responsibilites

  • Opening of the show room in the morning to ready it for clients, and monitoring the show room throughout the day for tidiness
  • Greeting clients and assisting with any questions and inquiries
  • Manage phone system, check and return all messages daily
  • Cash out and preparation of daily deposits
  • Manage builder internet sites and book appointments for new clients
  • Appointment confirmation emails to clients
  • Creating and managing new client files and cards once appointments have been booked
  • Manage all outbound and inbound mail, couriers, etc.
  • Order office and kitchen supplies, organize stationary room
  • Prepare next day’s appointment files for sales staff
  • Assist with processing upgrades
  • Administrative tasks as assigned, such as filing

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
  • Time management – strong ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Intermediate PC computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and internet applications
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision or guidance
  • Comfortably able to work in a seated desk position for extended periods of time
